2、 Arrangements for Graduates’ Photo Collection and How to Obtain the Collection Code
In order to implement the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Security Management of Image Collection Information for Graduates of Higher Education Institutions" and protect students' personal privacy the CHSI has fully implemented a new mode of encrypted collection and transmission based on collection codes. Students at the image collection site need to use collection codes for identity authentication. The image collection work is undertaken by China Image Group. The collected photos will be used for the production of academic certificates degree certificates and related graduation materials. The electronic image files will be used for the academic degree certificate authentication system.
Regarding the specific requirements for graduates’ photo collection undergraduate graduates need to refer to the relevant notices issued by the Undergraduate Education Department and postgraduate graduates need to refer to the relevant notices issued by the Graduate School.
Students should pay special attention to the format of their name and ID number when registering on the CHSI. The name format is usually “LAST NAME FIRST NAME" (all uppercase English letters comma input in English format. If the surname and first name are not separately distinguished in the passport there is no need to add commas). The International Students Division will also send the names and passport numbers registered on the CHSI website to the graduates of the current semester via email around November and April each year. Please register on CHSI in accordance with the registered data format strictly! If the information is correct but the collection code still cannot be obtained please refer to the "Registration Instructions for Degree International Students on the China Higher Education Student Information Network" (click to download).
