The Silk Road Program of Chinese Government Scholarship aims to advance industry leaders and outstanding talents for countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. It focuses on supporting professional training in the fields urgently needed by these countries including green development, digital economy, artificial intelligence, energy, taxation, finance, disaster mitigation, and education.

I. Scholarship Duration

The scholarship duration is consistent with the standard length of the study program.

II. Scope of the Scholarship

This full Chinese Government Scholarship covers tuition, housing, a living stipend in China, and comprehensive medical insurance.

III. Application Time

Generally in March and April each year.

IV. Application Procedures

1. Based on admission and specific programs, Peking University will recommend candidates on the basis of merit to the China Scholarship Council.

2. Recommended candidates should log onto the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System, https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login, to complete the online Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form and submit required application materials.

VI. Annual Review

Scholarship is renewable on an annual basis provided scholarship recipients have participated in and passed the annual scholarship review.
